Change your dates and the plan rebuilds around the wedding: arrival day first, flight home last, a slow day before the wedding, and extra days filled with Old Manila, Tagaytay and free days. Days you've edited stay if they still fit.
About 3h 50m direct, no time difference. Fares below are return estimates from recent searches; tap "Live fares" for real prices on your dates. Book early: December is the most expensive month on this route.
The venue is Makati Shangri-La in Ayala Center, so Makati is the easiest base (5–15 min away); BGC works too. Prices are per room per night. Book a refundable rate early. Swipe the cards on your phone.
Restaurants, markets, sights, bars and clubs, sorted by type. Filipino food is meant to be shared, so order for the table. Add any place straight into your plan.
Pasalubong is the treat you bring back for family and the office. Most are in any Makati or BGC mall. Airport shops exist but stock and hours vary, so do the main shopping in the city on your last morning.
Processed food like baked goods, dried mangoes, chocolate and coffee is fine for personal use, up to 5 kg in total per person. Leave out pork and other meat products: chicharon, longganisa, tocino and similar won't be allowed in, because the Philippines isn't on SFA's approved list for pork. Fresh fruit only in small hand-carry amounts.
Use Grab for almost everything. Traffic decides the time, not distance: avoid moving between 7–10 AM and 4–8 PM when you can. Tap a route to see live traffic in Google Maps.
